Android 11 beta get's new 117 emoji

Google has announced Android 11 beta yesterday with tons of new features and changes. One such change is 117 new emoji in which some of them are pinched finger for that Italian flair, and we have variations of existing animals, like a black cat, and altogether new animals like polar bears, bison, beavers, mammoths, and dodos. Some foods and drinks also get love, like blueberries, olives, flatbread, fondue, and bubble tea.

You'll be able to use these emoji's only on Android 11 beta and you won't be able to use or see these emoji's on devices that are on Android 10 or below.

Other changes include in Android 11 beta are :
  • Music resumption
  • New Power Menu
  • Muting notifications during video
  • Increase touch sensitivity
  • Notification History
  • Auto revoke app permissions
  • Undoing recently cleared apps
  • Ability to dismiss persistent app notifications
  • More granular back gesture tweaking
We're expecting Apple to introduce new emoji in the upcoming iOS 14 which is yet to be announced in the WWDC this year.
