Apex Legends Mobile confirmed to be relased later this year

Back in 2019, EA launched Apex Legends and it took the gaming world by storm. With the Battle Royale genre dominated by PUBG and Fortnite, Apex legends with its launch broke the first-week download record of Fortnite by more than 10 million difference, reaching 25 million downloads in just a week and 50 million downloads in 4 weeks, and just outright killed the hype that PUBG created by just the fact that Apex Legends is a Free-to-play game while PUBG is a paid game. Apex legends is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 platforms.

In the recent EA Play 2020 event, EA confirms that Apex Legends will be available for Nintendo Switch soon.

On a Twitter post earlier this May, Blake Jorgensen COO & CFO of EA, confirmed that they are working with a partner in China most likely Tencent Games(developers of PUBG mobile and COD Mobile) to make sure Apex Legends Mobile version will truly be a global release.

Now the Apex Legend's Official twitter handle has confirmed that Apex Legends will be released for Android and iOS devices later this year. In the post, Electronics Art's CEO Andrew Wilson talked about bringing Apex Legends to Mobile devices by the end of this year. The global release is supposed to happen in the first quarter of 2021 and the Soft Launch will be available later this year with the first release probably in China.

With the Battle Royale genre dominated by PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile, it will be really interesting to see how Apex legends Mobile competes.

Along with the Apex Legends Mobile news, Andrew Wilson also talked about several new titles to be released for mobile devices in the future.
