Samsung S9 series gets Android 10 based One UI 2.1 update in South Africa

Samsung Galaxy S9 series is now getting the Android 10 based One UI 2.1 update in South Africa. A user in Reddit confirms receiving the update on Galaxy S9. Back in January2020, the Galaxy S9 series received the One UI 2.0 update and from June 15, Samsung started the rollout of One UI 2.1 starting with South Korea.

As per a Screenshot posted on Reddit by a Galaxy S9 user in South Africa. The update comes with the firmware version G960FXXU9ETF5 and jumps the Security Patch Level to June 2020. The update will arrive in Galaxy S9 via OTA(Over-the-Air) update
