Oppo A9 (2020) and A5 (2020) picks up a new update with July 2020 security patch and more

Oppo has continuously pushing updates for rolling out a stable Android 10 update of FuntouchOS with the July 2020 security update for Oppo A9 2020 and A5 2020 with few tweaks and improvements.

You can download the update via OTA or receive a prompt to download the update. The update is rolling with build number 33EX_11_C.68 or CPH1931EX_11_C.68 for A5 2020 and CPH1937EX_11_C.68 for A9 2020 with ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.

    • Added the July 2020 Android security patch to enhance system security.

    • Improved system performance and stability.

    • Fixed an issue where no notifications were displayed for calls from the Line app.
    • Fixed an issue where the functions of “Game Space” would not restore to default settings after it was reinstalled.
    • Fixed an issue where the in-ear monitoring would occasionally not work.
  • Camera
    • Optimized the effects of the flashlight when using the front camera.
    • Fixed an issue where filters would sometimes not work in Portrait mode
The update has optimized the effects of flashlight when using the front camera and also fixed some of the major issues such as fixed the issue of Line App where it doesn't display any notification for call and also fixed some other issues that are mentioned in the changelog.

Both of these devices are launched in 2020 with new designs and updated specs and cameras as the successor of their old models and they have great sales in the mid-range section. Follow us to get regular updates.
