Oppo F7 receiving a new update with July 2020 security patch and more

Oppo has recently started rolling out a new stable update for Oppo F7 with the July 2020 security patch with few tweaks which improved the system stability and performance. Apart from that, the update has also improved camera stability to offer a better experience.

The update is rolling out with a build number CPH1819EX_11_F.13 for Oppo F7 based on ColorOS. The update weighs 393MB. The update is rolling out in India and later regions only.

  • System
    • Added the July 2020 Android security patch to enhance system security.
    • Improved system stability.
    • Fixed an issue where speaker audio would be delayed when earphones are unplugged.
    • Fixed an issue where the screen would flash when you swiped up from the bottom of the screen to switch between recently-used apps.
  • Camera
    • Improved exposure effects to improve the shooting of backlit portraits.
  • Communications
    • Improved Wi-Fi network connection speed for a better online experience.
  • Apps
    • Fixed an issue where the Browser app would crash when you cleared the browsing history.
The update also fixed the issue where speaker audio would be delayed when earphones plugged and also fixed an issue where the screen flashes when swiping up from the bottom to open recent apps and more that are mentioned in the changelog.

Users that are on stable version will receive a prompt to download the update or you can manually download the update from the update section in Settings or else you can download the software from the Oppo official website by entering your model number.
