Redmi Note 7 Pro Review [Still worthy in 2020?]

Redmi Note 7 Pro

The Redmi Note 7 Pro was one of the most hyped at the time of its launch which was in February 2020. Xiaomi did it best create a lot of hype before its release to attract more and more buyers, considering the specs the Redmi Note 7 Pro was actually worth the hype, it's been more than one year after the launch of the amazing Redmi Note 7 Pro. Here, I a Redmi Note 7 Pro user is all set to tell you my experience with this phone and is it still worthy in 2020.

First, let's talk about the main specifications of the phone and while discussing the specifications I will give you my opinion on that particular set of specifications.

BODY:

The Redmi Note 7 Pro dimensions are 159.2 x 75.2 x 8.1 mm and its weight's around 186g, Redmi Note 7 Pro has a Glass front, and also a glass back both the front and the back are protected by a Gorilla Glass 5 the sides have a plastic frame.

Redmi Note 7 Pro has a pretty cool looking body and it was the first mid-range smartphone that comes with a glass front and a glass back, the volume & power buttons were also good and worked just fine. No issues with the Looks & Feels.

DISPLAY:

Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and the screen has 409ppi density.

The display Redmi Note 7 Pro has no issues, the quality of the display was pretty good as a mid-range phone and the viewing experience was just amazing, I never found any issues like dead pixel or fading colors while using the phone.

Performance:

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675 (11 nm) processor along with Adreno 612 GPU.

When it comes to the performance the Redmi Note 7 Pro was just amazing at first there we no shutters, frame drops while gaming overall it gave an amazing experience in the day to day usage, and the performance for pretty good at first but after some time as the new update kept installing the phone became a little sluggish while using it normally, sometimes it worked perfectly fine but sometimes it just got hang or the touched didn't respond and till ow the problems are not fixed in the new updates.

BATTERY:

The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a huge 4000mAh battery with the support of 18W Fast Charging but their company does not provide an 18W Fast Charger, if you want it you will have to buy it from somewhere else.

When it comes to the battery performance the Redmi Note 7 Pro was pretty mediocre, it was good but not that amazing. The Battery would last a whole day on a day to day usage but while using it intensively like gamming and all it fades away pretty quickly. But after some new update, the battery is now performing pretty well and the phone will last more than a  day in normal usage.

CAMERA:

Redmi Note 7 Pro has a dual-camera set-up with a 48MP primary camera and a 5MP depth sensor, the front selfie shooter has single13MP primary camera.

The main feature of the Redmi Note 7 Pro was its camera, it was the first mid-range smartphone to hold a 48MP primary camera that actually delivered some good photography experience, and also the video recording experience was pretty great. But there was a major problem that while clicking the photo the camera app kept on crashing and sometimes after taking a pic the captured image keeps on getting processed and because of all these problems the Redmi Note 7 Pro main highlight the 48MP camera became an actual con of the phone.

Some other major issues of Redmi Note 7 Pro:

The MIUI software was a disaster for this phone, it turned an amazing mid-ranger beast into an average smartphone. As the phone was getting update instead of getting better with every update it got laggier and slower, sometimes the new update will actually come with a fix for the old issues, and with those fixes, new problems came like an add-on to the phone.

The most frustrating thing about the phone is the network issues that this phone has. No matter what area of the city you are in this phone the Redmi Note 7 Pro will never be able to get full network coverage. You will have to face issues like call drops, no network. no connection while playing online games. No matter how many updates they rollout, no fix has been provided for the issue yet.

Conclusion:

To be Honest the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a pretty decent phone with an amazing set of specifications and it will perform well in day-to-day usage but some software issues can be irritating and frustrating sometimes, except the software the hardware performance of the phone is just awesome.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro in 2020 or 2021 is just a NO NO it just doesn't make sense because a lot of new have had come out with better specifications at the same price tag, So it will be much better to go for them rather than the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Mi10T5G

Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi 10t and Mi 10T pro on September 30. However,
leaks about the devices have revealed mostly all of the specifications along with

panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio and will also support a 144Hz refresh rate.
Both devices look identical with minimum bezels and a slightly bigger chin.

Along with a single punch hole on the top left corner.
Being an LCD panel also means that there will be no in-display fingerprint sensor,
instead, the devices will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which doubles
as a power button.

Both devices will have Corning Gorilla 5 protection on both front and back.
Also, both Mi 10T and 10T Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor. I think that Xiaomi could have gone with Snapdragon 865+ processor for the Pro variant.

The Mi 10T will come in a single variant with 8Gb RAM and 128GB internal storage.
while the Mi 10T Pro will have two variants both will have 8GB RAM with 128GB
and 256GB internal storage respectively.

fast charging.

Both Mi 10T and Mi 10T pro has similar specs but the main difference lies in the

pro features a 108Mp primary camera with OIS. The rest two camera sensors are the same in both devices with 13MP Ultra Wide Lens and 5MP macro sensors.

Rumors suggest that Mi 10T will be priced around 45000Rs while the Mi10T Pro
will be priced around 55000 to 60000Rs in India. We have to wait for the
official launch for the confirmed prices.

there won't be much difference in processing power.
Pixel 4A 5G will come with 6GB of RAM and the Pixel 5 will come with 8GB of RAM,
means Pixel 5 will have better multitasking capabilities.
Both devices offer 128GB internal storage.

Both Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G will feature a dual-camera setup on the back

bigger 4080mah battery. Both devices will support 18W fast charging and while
